Our 2025 Journey
In December 2024,Chris Ssali joined the United for Climate Justice first induction and onboarding meeting and i was motivated to join the movement inspired to be the voice for the voiceless, a voice to marginalized communities in Africa and the zeal to defy the status quo,criminal politics and other existential threats on the African continent.
In January 2025 along with a team of passionate youths in my group we started the United for Climate Justice 🇺🇬 ⭕️ anchored in our grassroot organization "Ssali Soveneire Environ
mental Foundation(SSEF UGANDA) registered in Ugandan laws and incorporated by Uganda Registration Service Bureau(URSB) in 2023,despite a diverse of challenges in Africa we're still standing on our core values and morals of amplifying climate justice voices,community Empowerment as well as defying the status quo by engaging in advocacy campaigns,peaceful protests, participating in policy making panels and making polluters, governments accountable.

On 22/06 2024 we managed to have a peaceful protest march to Parliament of Uganda 🇺🇬 expressing our grievances in petition against the state of corruption, lack of accountability,abduction of youths.
Our archivements
1.In January 2025 we started our tree planting, climate education and youth empowerment programs here in Uganda and it has impacted grassroot communities with tangible evidences.
We've always reached out to schools with climate education, and tree planting to inculcate a sense of environmental responsabilities and stewardship among the school going students.
We've donated over 800 climate literacy and numeracy readings materials to students and host schools keep students well informed about the climate emergency, causes, mitigation solutions and strategies.

2.We've managed to plant fruits tree seedlings 🌱 in schools,communities and homes to eradicate food insecurity and each tree planted we steward it to students to regularly irrigate them especially those planted in schools,those planted in homes the children and parents have total responsibility of caring for those trees and we've also inspected the planted trees on several occasions and they're doing good and those which are stuntly growing, we're organizing to replace them as soon as the rain season commences.

3.We've always participated in climate advocacy,mining injustices and humanitarian campaigns both virtual and real time inspired and guided by United for Climate Justice campaigns and coordination team.

Stand for Climate Justice Campaigns
4.We've participate in numerous community clean-up exercises in different parts of Uganda both at national and communal events.
(a)We carried out cleaning exercise during the Namugongo Martyrs Ground in commemoration of the Uganda Martyrs day.
(b)We carried out the communal cleaning campaigns in Kabale district, western part of Uganda during the National Environment Day 2025.
(c)We had a communal cleaning exercise at Ggaba Landing Site on shores of lake Victoria as well as educating communities on the significance of keeping the environment clean in order to safe guard the lake Victoria ecosystem.
